Eden Nature Park and Resort Davao

Spending the day at Eden is always a great pleasure.

And spending with someone you love makes it even more valuable.

Despite having gone to Eden Nature Park several times throughout the years, experiencing it with someone very significant is truly a beautiful experience. It felt like it was my first time, and many “firsts” were done.

TRANSPORTATION:

I’ve been to Eden numerous times in the past with my family and relatives, and have always gone there using a private car. But going on an adventure with Joni, the experience I had now was surely a different kind of adventure.

First time commuting to Eden.

From Roxas street, ride a jeep to Toril, Davao City. Just tell the driver that you’re going to Eden. They know where to drop you off. You won’t miss the whole slew of tricycles and motorcycles in their terminal. Once you alight from the jeepney, the motorcycle or “habal-habal” drivers will flock you and give you a deal on their fare to Eden. Take your pick and then make a good bargain, haha… In our case, we rode a habal-habal going to Eden. Whooooooo~ <3

Jeep fare:  25 each

Single motorcycle fare (habal-habal): 150 (2 pax)

EXPLORING EDEN:

Instead of taking their shuttle tour (na pinagsawaan na), first time to follow the trail and hike going to their attraction sites.  It was a test for our navigation skills. More time to take photos, compared to a group tour in a van with limited time. We want our jump shots and selfies taken at our own pace… The adventure sure was a great exercise, a time to appreciate mother nature, and be being one with it.

One of the best part? No expenses. ^_~

SPENDING THE NIGHT:

Instead of just having a day tour, since it was October, we got the Eden promo for their 19th anniversary, giving away all their rooms for only Php 1900, with free breakfast for two, for the entire month of October. Hence for us, first time staying the night over as a couple. Ayieeeee.

We got the Vista Room, which is a walkable distance from the main restaurant. ^_^

TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH:

I’m afraid of heights. Hahaha… But instead of being scared of riding Eden’s famous skyride, skycycle, and skyswing, I took the plunge and got courage from my luvluv. First time to ride them all!!! I’m so proud of myself!
